On 8 and 9 November, the Gabiente Lladó Trophy was held at the Club Nàutic Sa Ràpita, a competition that was included in the Balearic Islands selection process for the Optimist class.
In the competition, our sailor Jorge Benítez Casares achieved an excellent third place in the Under-16 category, standing out for his consistency and good performance throughout the regatta.
The Balearic Optimist Selection will continue with two more events, to be held soon in Ciutadella and Ibiza, where the young sailors will continue to compete for a place on the Balearic team.
