The ORC Spanish Cup for Single-Handed and Double-Handed sailing has concluded at the Real Club Nàutic de Port de Pollença after completing the course Pollença – Portocolom – Faralló d’Aubarca. This edition was marked by unstable winds, with constant shifts in direction and intensity, putting the more than twenty participating yachts to the test. The fastest boats completed the course in 15 hours, while the last competitors crossed the finish line after 24 hours of sailing.
In Group 3, victory went to Blue Flag, skippered by Matías Gil Roig, who claimed first place. Jau, owned by Juan Company, finished in second position, while Azuree, owned by Eduardo Horrach Campins, took the third spot on the podium.
In Group 4, Celeste di Mare, owned by Amador Magraner, was crowned class winner. Joile Voile, skippered by Toni Enseñat Nicolau, finished second, with Mowgli, owned by Patrick Harris, completing the podium in third place.
In the Single-Handed category, victory went to Fragil V, owned by Francisco Gil Vives. Finally, in the Mixed category, the winning team was Dumia, led by Aina Jordi.
The regatta was organised by the Real Club Nàutic de Port de Pollença and the Balearic Sailing Federation, under delegation from the Royal Spanish Sailing Federation.
